Hayrides rumble over the earth at Fun Pumpkins, chauffeuring visitors to a pick-your-own pumpkin patch where 30 varieties of pumpkins grow on sprawling vines. The colors of the 15,000 pumpkins vary: some are orange, some are green with olive spots, and others are smooth and white. They're all ready to be carved with faces for jack-o’-lanterns, stewed with spices, baked into pies, or stacked into decorative towers. The farm grows other autumnal decorations, too, such as ears of indian corn in the earthy colors of the changing leaves and gourds ideal for making crafts or making a cornucopia seem like it is a pretty normal shape by comparison.
