The restaurant is old fashion but cozy and antique. You feel like going back in time. The chef, which is the owner was friendly. The menu is short but the food was fabulous Not to mention the area around S.Juan Bautista Mission....lovely. I would go back any time!!

A quaint little vintage house with a lot of history. Charlie the owner is a great chef and the fun part is that he mingles with the guests, quite a personality. His waitress is also pleasant and gives you history of the Casa Rosa. Not to mention the casseroles, they are delicious. My favorite was the Chicken Souffle casserole. I have visited the Casa Rosa 2 times and will return again.

This place is a true delight. The couple that run this place are as sweet as they come and have been running it for generations now. The food is beautifully made with hot fresh rolls and a jam bar. The chicken shuffle was to die for as well as the jams that are also for sale. Go here, guys. Its a romantic lunch on your was to the coast or a fab spot to go with the girls for brunch, that's a bit different and nostalgic for a change.

What a fun place. I loved the antiques and just the whole feel of the place. I kept imagining what it was like 100 years ago. They may be selling the landmark, so go soon.Wonderful place to eat before taking a walking tour of the town and the Mission.
