There are three floors, I would suggest starting in the basement and work your up.

You do have to pay for parking right by the museum. You could try to find parking but I'm sure it is rather difficult around there. The parking was $10 and we got $2 back after validation from the museum. It was really neat to see some of the old stuff, there was new stuff too. But it really only took us a couple hours to look at everything.

Parking all day across the street on highland. Its twenty dollars,but you wont get a ticket or have to keep moving your car.
