About Miguel Karroum Photography

Photography became a part of Miguel Karroum's life from the very beginning—so much so, in fact, he says he was almost born "inside a darkroom." In his native town of Valencia, Venezuela, his parents operated a studio and darkroom, and Miguel grew up learning the ins and outs of the business firsthand. He's been operating his own studio since 1990, and the Miguel Karroum Photography portfolio showcases the camerawork and editing skills of a true lifer. Outdoor shoots harness the natural, sun-soaked beauty of Fort Lauderdale, and indoor sessions use professional lighting techniques to capture clients in flattering poses.
