Beware of onions if you have an allergy. Portions were huge and they do charge $5 extra for splitting. Caesar salad had way too much dressing. Swordfish was cooked perfectly.

The food has always been delicious at Mikey's. However, we stopped going a few months back because of extremely bad/slow service on more than one occasion. However, this recent visit, we had a wonderful waitress by the name of Misty - was waiting several tables, helping to man the bar and managed to check on us regularly. She was very conscientious to all her customers. Hopefully this means a continued improvement trend in service. The food was excellent - very fresh, almost like being directly on the Gulf. Will definitely give it another try soon and would recommend it to others.

I'll start by saying that Mikey's Grill has the best rolls ever! I can't stop eating them when I go there. Also, I'm all about the flavorful sauces they add to their fish and chicken dishes. I ate a grouper dish that was even better than I anticipated, and my husband ordered a chicken dish that had a to-die-for sauce. My only disapproval was that I'd like to see Mikey's include some type of vegetable or starch with each meal rather than everything else be a la carte. Although we didn't save room for dessert, we were told that all of the desserts were homemade by chef Mikey's mom. Next time, I'll try to save room.
