About Ort Farms

Each Fall, as the leaves begin to change in scenic Long Valley, big green John Deere tractors can be seen pulling hayrides of families out to their pumpkin patch to pick pumpkins off the vine. Giggles and laughs can be heard of visitors who find their way through the twists and turns of the 8 acre corn maze. The fall festival also offers farm animals to pet and feed, a tractor playset and hay pyramid for visitors. Their farm stand is open daily and has a wide selection of fresh produce, local apples, apple cider, decorations and delicious home baked pies and apple cider donuts. On the weekends in October, visitors can also enjoy pony rides, train rides and monster truck rides. Ort Farms is also celebrating it's 100th anniversary season this year. Winter brings holiday decorations, such as douglas firs and wreaths, and spring blossoms to life as pots of geraniums, annuals, and marigolds spring up inside the farm's five greenhouses. And as the sun dons its giant summer bathing suit, the Orts arrive at local farmers’ markets bearing fresh lettuce, colorful peppers, and other seasonal produce.
