There was a large Houston magazine party taking place in the restaurant on the evening I visited, and when we arrived, we stood alongside many other guests at the hostess table for several minutes before a harried-looking employee told us there was no host on duty. He asked if we had reservations, and when I said no, dismissively told us, "Good luck" before walking off. Nonetheless, we got a table, and despite the slow service in placing our order at the bar and getting the last guests' glasses cleared, the food was delivered promptly and the waiter we interacted with at the end of our meal was polite and helpful, so our visit ended on a more pleasant note than it started.

Jason is fantastic. He knows his wines. He also knows how to circulate and make sure an outstanding customer experience is had by all. The tasting room should consider themselves fortunate to have such a fantastic manager.
