About Latta Equestrian Center

History comes alive each and every day at the Historic Latta Plantation. The preserved cotton plantation was first built in 1800 and now exists to educate school groups and other visitors. Guests are welcome to take self-guided tours of the home, and grounds during special event days.Guests will have the opportunity to encounter livestock and see demonstrations on special event days.

We had a wonderful time and will definitely return next year if it is available. The demonstrations were interesting and all the participants very knowledgeable. I would highly recommend this event.

Absolutely LOVED Latta Plantation at the holidays! So much fun. We loved learning about this historical spot and savoring s'mores over an open fire.

We had a great time!!! Took all the kids and went with the aunties. All kids were 10 and under. Youngest being 4. Everyone had an amazing time!!!!
