What services does your business offer and what makes your business stand out from the competition?
We offer classes for the whole family. Classes are separated by age and skill level, and are offered 6 days a week. We also provide a flexible schedule to allow you the freedom to attend class any day of the week.
Exercise is challenging. How do you keep clients motivated and engaged?
Classes include exercises to build core strength and balance. The workout changes frequently to keep students young and old from becoming bored with the same old workout. Kempo is a self-defense-based style. This allows students to work with each other to better enhance their workouts.
What was the inspiration to start or run this business?
Protecting yourself is an important necessity at this time for people of all ages. American Kempo Karate gives students all the tools necessary and the confidence they need to defend themselves in realistic situations. Kempo also keeps students aware of their surroundings to avoid dangerous situations.
What do you love most about your job?
The most rewarding aspect of teaching American Kempo Karate is watching students grow from beginner level to advanced and watching shy, quiet, uncoordinated children growing into confident, athletic and respectful adults.
