Give yourself about 4 hours to see everything if doing the blast pass; alot of reading but very interesting. We had a good time but would make an earlier reservation than 3pm next time. A must see if visiting Kansas!!

It was excellent, I will be taking out of town guests there when they visit. The self paced tour is great, much better than a guided tour. Make sure to leave plenty of time to visit.

Incredible! You won't find anything else like it - not around here, at least. My husband has a Geology degree, so I bought these tickets for him for our anniversary. It was perfect. An educational experience that is also super fun, the museum employs a variety of methods (tour guides, visual elements, touchable exhibits, 3-5 minute videos, informational posters, etc.) to help make it an exciting learning environment for all guests. Honestly, what made it so incredible, though, were the tour guides - so friendly/knowledgeable! My husband, a geologist, really connected with one of the guides, who went and found him a special salt crystal to take home. Very personal experience. We'll be back!

Block out a good couple of hours for this experience. We got the Salt Blast Pass and were so glad we did--so much more info and we got to see more of the mine.
