Defined by rolling terrain, large greens, and extensive bunkering, the layout makes artful use of tall hardwoods and pine trees. Water hazards glisten on seven of nine holes, often situated in treacherous places. On the par-four fourth hole, ponds straddle the fairway as it bottlenecks toward the green; on the seventh hole, those braving the tips have to carry a pond in front of the tee box.
