It is a great way to see what early airline travel was like.

A different place to take your children. They should be 12 or older not unless they are into airplanes. The guides do a great job telling about the airplanes and airport. If you grew up during the 50's, 60's or 70's you will really enjoy this adventure.

Be courteous. Museum is run by volunteers. There are two opportunities to board aircraft so people are not able to climb stairs will not get the full experience. It is also warm in the hangar itself so be prepared for spending about half the time in heat.

Make an appointment for the flight simulators before you go or you might not get to do it. This museum is nice because there is a docent who takes you through the museum and gives you the history. He was very knowledgeable and it was so much nicer than reading info off of little cards on display.
