My siblings and I had a WONDERFUL time with the BYOB night. The instructor was kind and encouraging. I have only two very minor criticisms: 1) The painting on the night we went was a rather dull one of a tree; would have been fun painting something more exciting -- this did create a unique challenge of giving the painting our own personal touch... Everyone painted with a different style. 2) Since the event is primarily fun, the instructor didn't focus on teaching us anything, just went step-by-step through the colors. It would have been nice to "learn" something about the painting process...some very basic technique for example, I didn't really know what I was doing with the brush strokes etc.
Neither of these two minor things hindered our enjoyment however. Very fun experience, highly recommended, would definitely do again. Bring snacks and lots of wine.

This was wonderful! Had tons of fun with my friend. We brought snacks (like way more than anyone else I think...ex: cheese, crackers, hummus, pita bread, olives) and some mixed drinks. Other ladies brought wine. The gallery literally provided everything we needed in terms of the painting (aprons included to cover clothes) and even had some cups and plates for the food. He went step by step with us on how to paint the picture and offered individual help to any one who needed it. I would highly recommend this!! I want to go again for sure.

Great date night activity! The instructor was encouraging and fun, and I liked the small class size.
