About Popcorn Media

Popcorn Media creates family-friendly movies, television, music, and themed attractions. They also create unique, live events and experiences for children and their families in the community. During Popcorn Media workshops and camps, students learn acting skills from a Hollywood director while soaking up the knack to rehearse and film their own short production. Students will learn the art of on-camera acting, improvisational acting, and script-writing while starring in a short, professional, and imaginative family movie. The curriculum is developed by a Disney and Nickelodeon producer and a veteran school teacher who have discovered some great methods to evoke great performances out of young performers. They have been teaching students how to become an actor since Movie Star Camp began in 2003.
