The forest and wolf centre are about 20 min north of town of Haliburton. The wolf centre has a fee but the forest does not if you want to hike, it does if you want to mountain bike the trails. There is a captive moose at the forest, his name is Hershey. There is also camping in the forest area. It is a beautiful area.

check their business hours, specifically for the wolf centre, for fall and winter season. they're only open on weekends.

Make sure you have time to spend at least one hour. There are short films, the observatory, the gift shop and exhibits, a short loop trail and other things. It was very enjoyable.

If loving wolves, yes to recommend. But honestly speaking, not so much fun in the little museum to show wild solves via windows.

Great experience, great trails, would recommend. Make sure to check out other local attractions as I think its fair to say a couple of hours max could be spent here!

Seeing the wolves and the 3 new pups was an incredible experience. I loved the Coy-Wolf video and enjoyed the enthusiasm of the volunteers.
