- for people with lots of disposable income, very expensive,
-fine dining, not large portions, incredible menu
- family run, chef shouldn't answer phones (not personable, very grumpy a little feminine to the ear so you it's unmistakable) but mother a great hostess and waitress
Do you listen to deconstructing dinner?
Fabulous food experience!
Server was awkward & the restaurant decor needs some maintenance.
Bizzare!!!!
I found there to be a musty odor in the restaurant. Food was served without any explanation of what we were really eating. Service was unfriendly and quite frankly rude. I would not recommend dining at Luke's mainly because I found it over priced and I had no idea what I was eating.
Tasted good, but very odd experience! Place feels dirty. When paying that kind of money some ambiance would be nice. The physical inside of the resturant looks like a two year old attempted at cleanliness and design. Overall, thumbs way down.
I wish that I could say that I was impressed with the food... it was tasty and interesting, but I left hungrier than when I came in. I don't care about how artistic or interesting it is if I'm paying over $100 for a meal and have to go for a hamburger after!
A truly dismal and dreadful restaurant experience. First, your decor is awful. The server was rude and ignored us for almost half and hour before we were even offered water. The dishes took over 30 minutes to come out of the kitchen. The food itself was dreadful, flavourless, or heavily garnished with ginger (in particular); some of it tasted stale (i.e. the foie gras). Fine dining, this is not. I will discourage everyone I know from going here.
Artful and tasteful offerings were lovely.
Nondescript, and profoundly depressive server and odd classless decor were massive detractors. Will not be returning.
For price point, have enjoyed meals every bit as fine, and with much higher levels of ambiance and service.
