About K-Town Swing

K-Town Swing got its start at the beginning of 2015, shortly after Kelly and Scott moved to Knoxville. Kelly was born and raised here, but for the last 10 years she has been traveling around the world to teach swing dance workshops. Scott hails from Austin, TX, where he co-founded and ran a successful swing dance school, The Lindy Project.

In her travels, Kelly has taught swing dancers in all parts of the world. Scott helped build the Austin swing dance community into a premier dance scene and trained many raw beginners into traveling dancers. Together, they have transformed thousands of people into dancers across the globe.

Their two different teaching backgrounds come together to create K-Town Swing. Their goal is bigger than to get you out to classes or teaching you how to dance well, they want to give you the tools to join the dance floor and become a part of their community.
