Bring water. I forgot and I got thirsty. Bring arm wraps too. This is definitely a hardcore workout but it was a lot of fun with all levels of fitness within the group. I'll be back!

You will need wraps and gloves but they sell them at the place at reasonable prices. Just be ready to have fun :)

Went to my first kickboxing class with Eagle Martial Arts, and it blew me away! So much better than the fitness classes they have at your local gyms. The instructor is an actual professional, and while he is dedicated to your fitness he is incredibly wise, and incorporates the goals from martial arts into kickboxing. He instructs proper form, and meditation techniques. Great class!

I've never done kickboxing and I am currently working through bursitis in the groin. I worried these classes would ultimately not work out for me. Honestly, my groin hasn't bothered me. My glutes, abs and quads were sore the next day, for sure, but not the next. I'm enjoying these classes!! I'm getting trained well and the other girls (women's kickboxing class) are so into their own training that nobody is "watching" me so I don't feel embarrassed with my fumbles. Both teachers I've had are great motivators. All and all, this is worth it. I highly reccomend it, which is much..coming from me.
