I have kayaked in the Great Lakes, but I was intimidated going out into the ocean 🌊. Thankfully 😅, Marlie, our guide, showed us techniques to use before we launched, which really helped. She also explained about the history of the area. We saw sea lions and ventured near the caves. We also raced each other and had time to swim 🏊♂️ in the ocean . It was my highlight of visiting San Diego. 🤘🏻

Had a great time touring with this company last weekend! The tour guides were fun (and protective!) and kept things interesting, even though tides were a little too strong that day for us to actually enter the caves. While I wish we would have explored inside, not being able to did not detract from our enjoyment.
I would definitely recommend this outfitter and experience to anyone considering!

Fantastic Guide and friendly, engaging staff!
Alex was a font of information both about sea kayaking AND the history of the area, particularly La Jolla Cove.

Crew was very friendly and helpful. I like that the push you past the breaks and pull you in. They had a lot of knowledge about sea life, the caves and shore area.

I had a blast with these guys, our guides, chuck and Jeremy were the best, they got to know the whole group by name, they were knowledgeable and fun to be with. The surf was a little high so I didn’t get to go into all of the seven caves but what we did get to do was awesome. I appreciated the concern for our safety over the pressure to get everyone into the caves. I have experience on a kayak in rivers and lakes but not in the ocean, launching and landing into the surf was new but the guides prepared everyone for the experience well and there were no issues. I would recommend it highly.
