About Taste of the Himalayas

Every visit to Taste of The Himalayas is a trip to the other side of the world. Chicken vindaloo, lamb biryani, and seafood dishes such as fish tikka masala seem to transport diners into the hospitable kitchens of Nepal and India. In reality of course, they're still in the restaurant's dining room, where box-shaped paper lanterns hang from the ceiling and Himalayan-themed paintings cover the walls.

In the kitchen, chefs rely on a careful blend of herbs and spices to bring authenticity to meals and to conjure the ghost who gives them new recipes. Servers bring drinks such as imported beer and mango lassi to complete the experience.
