About Pacific Northwest Mushroom Festival

The Pacific Northwest Mushroom Festival celebrates local fungi through food, talks, cooking demonstrations, and plenty of entertainment. On the cooking stage, chefs show visitors how to incorporate mushrooms into a variety of recipes, while the mushroom and wine event pairs mushroom hors d'oeuvres with tastes from local wineries. Elsewhere, local merchants showcase their mushroom-related wares to the music of live bands, almost none of whom have gills. To take a more active part in the festivities, visitors can express their love of mushrooms and phosphorescence during the Grow in the Dark 5K or get their fill of fungi during the Shroom Feast.

Better organization of vendors. There were empty tables in the tents and other vendors on the fringe we did not see until we were leaving. Ran out od some tastes being prepared offsite - too long to wait

I thought it would be wild mushrooms not mushrooms that are grown locally. It was very disappointing to see all the vendors and nothing about wild mushrooms.

Although the event says "mushroom festival" mushrooms were absent, there are many things can be done with mushrooms than just show them on display

Thought the wine and mushroom were together. Disappointed to find it was Seperate. Food tasting was missing samples and you should be able to taste them all for the "extra" money it cost. Very disappointed.
