About Safari Wilderness Ranch

Safari Wilderness Ranch's exotic wetland animals freely roam 260 acres of grassy plains, girded by an 850-square-mile watershed. Accredited by the Zoological Association of America and licensed by the USDA, the ranch is an agritourism project dedicated to teaching about endangered species through hands-on safaris. Wandering zebra and watusi cattle herds coexist harmoniously with waterbuck and red lechwe as explorers ride by on as explorers ride by on trucks, horseback, camelback, and even kayak. There is also a lemur habitat that allows guests to feed the ring-tailed lemurs grapes. Safari Wilderness Ranch was ranked by Fodor's as one of the top 10 safaris in the USA.

This safari was a lot of fun & informative. It was fun feeding the animals and seeing how they care for them in their own habitat. Definitely would recommend to anyone!

A hidden gem!! We’ve done this a couple times now and will go again! The truck ride through the pastures is fun and educational. Feeding the water buffalo is a treat! Getting to feed the lemurs, even for an additional fee, is always the BEST DAY EVER!!

The people working at the Ranch could not have been any more accommodating along with their knowledge of all the animals. The tour guide was exceptional and we got some wonderful pictures of all the animals.
