As the owner and operator of the Lazy Star Horse Company, Maria Crane has spent years perfecting her tried-and-true training methods for horses and students alike. Her lessons build by degrees, starting out with equine psychology in order to learn how to interpret horses' non-verbal cues and know what to do when they call you crying at 3 a.m. because they saw a balloon. Maria's program has pupils gradually develop proper posture by starting off bareback before moving on to different saddle styles. Summer camps introduce horsemanship to younger students while boarding services give barnless riders a comfortable place to keep their mounts.
