BBQ at Opie's is like GoldiLocks: it's just the right amount of tart, savory, sweet, smoky, fat, lean, juicy and bark PLUS you can enjoy as much of the pinto beans and other accoutrements as socially acceptable unlike other establishments that limit you to a "half-pint" of them There is better "value" here as I seem to get a LOT MORE FOOD for my $$$ relative to other BBQ spots AND the staff is soooo helpful and friendly

Their baby-back ribs were excellent, as well as the (free) pinto beans and the jalapeno-corn. I thought the tater tot casserole was a little bland. The brisket was so-so (nothing compares to Franklin's) and the pork loin not bad. I thought their regular (not jalapeno) sausage had little flavor. The blackberry cobbler was excellent and I thought their iced tea was excellent. My husband loved the fact that they served sweet tea.
