Her headshots, family portraits, and maternity images frame subjects against their chosen backdrop, and her aesthetic eye enables her to zoom in on arresting details: a ballet-dancer's feet—poised en pointe—or a pair of hands exchanging wedding rings. She also readily snaps pictures of newborns and nonhuman models, including pets and the mannequin that stands in for your chronically late uncle.
