Had a great evening in Sidney. Went for dinner, then strolled the streets. Wrapped up with a movie at the charmining Star cinema. A Great little movie theatre.

This is a gem of a community facility that provides the latest films in a cozy environment perfect for sharing with family and close friends. The management and staff provide the ultimate in stress-free, comfortable, movie entertainment that won't break the family budget.

Being a Sidney resident, I love the Star Cinema. The Star is like the icing on the cake for our town. Please stay!

I only used the coupon for it's cash value as you couldn't use it the first weekend of a new movie and the expiry date on the coupon didn't give enough time for a good variety of movies which myself and my friends would be interested in. We are seniors but only available on a Saturday as I am still working that was fine we enjoyed it anyway. Thanks. Sidney theatre is a nice quaint little theatre. Hazel

The screen is dark - they need to brighten up the picture - too dark

Pleasant little neighbourhood theatre. Owners are friendly and put a lot of care and personal touches to their business.

We enjoy having a theatre playing first run movies in the "neighbourhood". (We live in Central Saanich).
