I went for an evaluation and stone massage. The chiropractor was very nice. I explained that I have a history of sciatica but was not experiencing any problems now and actually use a chiropractor near where I live when needed. He suggested staying with my present provider since I was happy with him. Then I had the massage. This is where the problems started. The massage was terrible. The doctor told her where to concentrate on and she ignored this. I asked her to use her hands instead of the rocks because she was not getting deep enough. She had no technique what so ever. She just pushed my body and basically gave me a very poor back rub. I was getting so frustrated I could not wait to get out of there. The worst part was when I left. As I reached my car, the sciatic pain that I worked for two months prior returned and I now have pain shooting from my back to my left hip. It has been about four weeks later and I still have the pain. Really upsetting to go in pain free and come out in pain and still enduring it. I have been debating call the chiropractor but really don't want to be involved with them in any capacity.
