Friendly hosts who answer the phone! Beautiful, newly re-done campground, Great stretch of the Niangua for young families: nothing too crazy. Go mid-week for a quiet time.

This was an all-around great experience for our family! The canoeing was fun and interesting, staff was friendly and helpful and then we had our pick of beautiful campsites to stay in. There are showers (and a lot of them) and restroom facilities near the check-in area, and a lot of port-a-potties scattered around the rest of the grounds for convenience (so for every half dozen campsites or so... Meaning you have options for bathrooms - something especially important for our teenage daughter) Beautiful place, great staff and a fun experience to remember - we will definitely want to do this one again!
