After being sedentary for too many years, I was dreading the yoga class. I had a memory of attending a yoga class that was way out of my league in the past and feeling humiliated. The 101 class was completely doable. Lots of explaining and encouragement. Many alternative ways of accomplishing movements were offered.

I arrived as a first time yoga newbie and was made to feel welcomed and at home. The instructor was great at teaching and correcting different postures/poses when needed, but also very attentive to each person’s own flexibility limits.
