About Salon DMA

Dominic Alonzo doesn’t know how to slow down. Over the past four years he’s zoomed from a Paul Mitchell student to a behind-the-scenes regular at local photo shoots to the owner of his very own space, Salon DMA. Comparing hairstyling to songwriting, the passionate stylist doesn’t view the daily salon grind as work, but rather as an outlet for expressing his inner thoughts, feelings, and hatred for split ends. When not readying models for various publications, such as Papercut magazine and Stilo, Dominic can be found treating everyday men and women to expert cuts and color treatments. He creates awe-inspiring shine with full and partial highlights and graduates hair color from light to dark using the ombre technique. Dominic also keeps hair strong and healthy by soaking it in deep-conditioning glosses, treating it with Awapuhi products, and tying it around dumbbells.
