Farms may not sprout candy bars, but a candy bar produced Milky Way Farm. The sprawl of fertile, Middle Tennessee land was bought by Frank Mars in the 1930s, with money from his Milky Way candy bar. In the decades since then, the farm's 1,100 acres have supported a menagerie of prize Hereford cattle, horses, and sheep, as well as an elegant Tudor manor house currently on the National Historic Registry. Its chestnut beams and stone walls make it a sumptuous wedding venue, while its 20 bedrooms could be quite the slumber party for a teen and her least-close friends. The farm plays host to other types of fun, too, from celebrations and meetings to trail runs & rides.
