About Defensive Mindset

Who They Are

Crystal and Luke Wedel own Defensive Mindset, and they bring a lot more than just NRA certifications to the table. Both stay active in shooting and self-defense communities, and Luke has also practiced martial arts for more than 15 years. They believe in "layers" when it comes to self defense and personal protection, and that "not every problem is a nail, and not every solution is a hammer". Having and appropriately using the right toolsets in various situations can help people cope and react effectively in threatening situations.

What They Do

Defensive Mindset teaches unarmed self-defense classes as well as firearms classes, including several concealed-carry courses and basic pistol training.
