About Making Waves Boat Club

Between voyages, Making Waves Boat Club’s fleet of watercrafts bobs cheerfully upon glistening marina waters as staffers scrub their hulls to a shine and fine-tune their motors, performing regular checkups. Each meticulously maintained vessel helps fulfill Making Waves’ mission—to grant aquatic enthusiasts a chance to explore local waterways without the hassles involved in boat ownership such as repairs, bills, and carpooling requests from neighborhood pirates. Each rental gives boaters the freedom to float wherever they choose as they spend a day in the sun, play watersports, and feel breezes that seem to come out just for them.

Wish there was a longer ladder to get in and out of the boat. Hard for the older people(me!)

Boat should be fully fueled so that it can be returned the same way.

The only suggestion I have is to have at least 7-10 gallons of gas in the boat for the.morning customers. The gas dock doesn't open till 9ish and it's across the lake. you are too nervous about running out of gas so you loose an hour driving straight there and waiting for it to.open when the boat is empty at pickup.

The guy loading our boat pulled the hook/rope out about 12 inches, put no effort into loading the boat even though there was a storm coming causing high winds and quick drifting of the boat into a rocky area. He just stood there. My brother and a 14 year old got the boat loaded but it would not get centered due to the extreme wind. The guy pulled the boat out of the water 3 times with it sitting at about a 45 degree angle on the trailer. I wouldn't want him handling a boat I owned.

We asked how much would fuel cost along with others that asked that same question and was Told about $50 dollars give or take. We were NOT informed if you purchase gas like we were Instructed to buy it would be DOUBLE per gallon at marina. We used a half of a tank of gas And it cost use $118 to go from half full to full. You guys have to find a better way to refuel boat either out of the water once group is done or let them know about the sticker shock they will c if they puchase at marina. See when refueling.
