The piney scents of douglas firs, white firs, and scotch pines waft through the grounds of Summit Christmas Tree Farm, an 80-acre farm located just east of Highway 17. After finding a tree of the right size and height, customers take part in a time-honored holiday tradition: chopping it down with tools provided by the farm. All that chopping can work up an appetite, which is why the Cub Scouts operate an onsite snack shack.

The best trees are usually at the bottom of the hill or next to the entrance/exit.

keep driving around the farm. most people stop at the beginning but there are more trees the farther you go.

They advertize White Firs, but I didn't see many. I did a get beautiful tree anyway.

The drought hit the tree farm pretty hard this year. But we still were able to find a nice tree. We have been to the tree farm many times over the years and have always had a good experience. They even helped me tie the tree to the top of my car! :)

Watch out for ticks on the dog, if you are planning to take one to bring a tree.

I think if you could give out maps of the area so that people will know there are a lot more areas to look. Even if it was laminated and turned back in with the saws. We had a wonderful experience! Thank you!
