Wonderful tour and tour guide. They took us on a tour of the White House in Richmond. The tour guide was very knowledgeable and made the tour a very lovely experience.

Awesome tour. Crazy story but I ended up having life saving surgery about two weeks later in the university hospital across the street. I'll never forget the information on Jefferson Davis that was so fascinating or the city of Richmond that literally saved my life. 😀

I enjoy history and the museum and Southern White House did not disapoint.

What a treat to see our civil war approached from different points of view. I read every label and explanation, so I didn't,t get to see a third of this place. But I'm going back until I see all of it. Wonderful exhibits, interactive things, videos. I have Confederates and Yankees in my family, the most interesting being the family with both.

Great experience

My husband and I really enjoyed visiting this museum and the tour. There’s two locations though so make sure you go to the right one; we made the mistake of going to the wrong one initially but thankfully they aren’t that far apart. Very educational museum, specially for a history buff.

Get there early to put your name down for a tour. It can get busy and you may have to wait a few hours before the tour has room for you. The tour is definitely worth is and the museum has some interesting pieces too!
