Quite worthwhile!! Excellent encounter with "Fred". Very knowledgeable and professional! We had a terrific time and learned a good deal about historic area, it's people, places and it's growth.

Our Tour guide Fred was very knowledgeable and answered most all of our questions. When we stopped to investigate further, he was patient and seemed to enjoy being with us as much as we did with him. It was a good time.
The tour guide was wonderful and was knowledgeable of so much history and it's obvious that he loves what he does. Our tour was three hours long with a lot of walking up and down the hilly streets of Lexington and across two college campuses. We thoroughly enjoyed every aspect of it. I would highly recommend this tour to individuals and groups.

The guide was very informed and personable and adjusted his pace to our needs. Walking is a great way to see Lexington as so much of interest is close together. We would not have seen details of the sights except for our guide's information.
Fred was an amazing guide with tons of knowledge to share! I would recommend to anyone that would like to learn about VMI, Washington & Lee and Lexington overall that they take this tour. He tailors the tour to the interests of the participants in the group and is very personable. I would consider taking another tour and see what additional information I could learn. We had a fantastic tour with a guide who did an awesome job. We can warmly recommand the Heritage walking Tour.
We had a wonderful time and learned a lot! My two older children mulled over the stories and commented on them all the way home and even my six year old admitted that it was interesting (she's currently in a phase where she identifies everything as "boring").
