This is a perfect spot to learn a little more about this area of NJ. I took my two boys (9 and 11) and we spent about an hour here. They did a scavenger hunt which is always a winner with my kids. Afterwards, cross the street and go into the book store which has interesting community events advertised and then get ice cream directly opposite. Nice way to spend a couple hours.

The staff is very friendly. I felt very warmly welcomed with my 4 year old daughter. She loved the fact that she could open the drawers and touch the items inside. The play room was very nice as well. They have items there that kids see in the exhibits, such as the sad iron. It was a wonderful visit!

Mr. Andrew greeted us at the door, showed us around, gave us insightful information and even presented our children with a great craft! Such a beautiful place to take the family!
