About Ponty Bistro

In 1995, Chef Ejhadji Cisse moved to the US from Senegal. Since then he's worked for internationally renowned chefs, appeared on the Food Network's Chopped, and opened two locations of Pony Bistro.

At the restaurant, Chef Cisse works alongside his co-owner, cousin, and fellow Senegal native Chef Cheikh Cisse. Their menu showcases creative interpretations of West African and French cuisine, with Mediterranean influences. They use only the freshest ingredients, putting a modern spin on dishes that reflect their shared heritage.
