About Bricks 4 Kidz

Bricks 4 Kidz instructors believe that play is one of the building blocks of a child's education and that children who engage in hands-on activities are more likely to retain what they've studied and more willing to continue learning. To this end, they lead fun but educational classes with activities that involve literal building blocks—Legos, to be precise. Classes focus on a variety of topics ranging from animal biology to robotics and filmmaking, incorporating themed Lego kits that help children understand new concepts. In Remote Control classes, students learn what wireless signals are, and create remote-controlled vehicles to see them in action. Space Adventures sessions give kids a firsthand look at the machines and tests astronauts use before, during, and after space missions, which could inspire them to pursue a career in science or purchase retail space on Mars.

This is only the second day my grandson has been. He seems to like it and when I go to pick him up all the kids look happy and busy.

My son likes building Legos but would like to see more interaction from instructors or teachings on how to build and a lesson plan. Other activities besides playing with Legos. They could also take home something to show what they did all week.

My son states no one teaches them anything about building or works with them. The theme is Minecraft, which he loves, and was hoping to learn to build same. He is so disappointed that they just sit around and play with Legos. Not for a 10 year old!
