About KidSwing Charity Golf Tournament

The KidSwing Charity Golf Tournament benefits the Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children—one of the top pediatric centers in the country. Infants through teenagers turn to this hospital for the treatment of orthopedic conditions, including related neurological and learning disorders such as dyslexia. Years ago, Ben Sater was one of those children who relied on the center for help. Wanting a way to give back, Ben used his love of golf as a springboard and created the KidSwing charity event, where golfers aged 7 to 18 compete in a nine-hole, best-ball scramble. The event unfolds at Heritage Ranch Golf & Country Club in Fairview, and those in attendance can also make contributions through raffles and contests instead of tracking down the pot of gold beneath the nearest rainbow.
