I went there expecting a loud echoing hangar full of airplanes and noisy kids. It was definitely a large hangar of airplanes with some fascinating exhibits but it was surprisingly short on noisy children for a Sunday afternoon. There were some kids, but they were far quieter than what I had grown accustomed to from similar museums. The exhibits were interesting; I got to go inside the Hercules (Spruce Goose), I was allowed to get up close and personal with an SR-71 Blackbird, saw some really scary flying contraptions, and I got to check out a Titan rocket! Overall, my husband and I had a lovely time. The staff is mostly made up of people who have been in the airforce or flight industry and if I recall correctly, they were all volunteers and all very excited about aeronautics. It was a pleasure to visit, very informative, and I look forward to visiting again sometime soon.

The "Goose was overwhelming! The whole museum is amazing, but we especially enjoyed the Kids Zone. Fun for small and big kids.

We had a really good time at the air museum. The spruce goose is absolutely massive. My kids are still talking about it.

We really enjoyed our visit on a late morning early afternoon Tuesday visit. There were few other visitors and we just took our leisurely time looking around and viewing the movie we had time for. The macaroni and cheese with ham from the concessionaire was very good, too.
