The food and service were both very good. The ambiance could be a little better. We were in a small dining room with wall sconces at every table that probably would have been enough, but all the overhead lighting was on as well. My husband and I both commented on how bright it was.

the filet was perfection with a scrumptious flavor and unique cast iron platter that kept the meat hot! Service was good also.

Wait staff were terrific; the full bar was a good as any I have seen; the steak delicious and the atmosphere was cozy and attractive. I will return after the owner Russell invited us back.

The food was outstanding - from the crisp, fresh salad to the sizzling steak and perfect baked potato. The service was excellent. I will definitely return and recommend the restaurant to others.

The server was very pleasant; she was attentive but not intrusive. My wife and I had the ribeye steak; it was cooked to the correct temperature and was one of the most tender and flavorful steaks that I've ever had. The steaks are served on a sizzling hot cast iron plate, which cooks the meat a little further (if you're a slow diner); you may want to order your steak a little less done than usual, to counter this. A great meal, in a pleasantly rustic setting.
