It is what it is: an old-school, small town diner Great breakfast, good lunch buffet of southern-style comfort food and perhaps the best fried chicken in Hillsborough Friendly people, too The kind of place that's quickly disappearing, so get there while you can

Enjoy the diner. Not very handicap accessible, no bathroom for handicap people. Food is good but has not been hot the last two times I was there. Cooks are very friendly. Each waitress does things differently. Sometimes we get basket of hushpuppies with food, other times we get charged extra for asking for them. Need to be more consistant. Over all it is worth the cost.

The coconut cake, banana pudding, spaghetti bake, baked mac & cheese, sweet tea, popcorn shrimp & fried chicken were all classically good southern cooking. Great staff & small town diner feel. We will be back.

The Village Diber is a very nice Family friendly place. It's always clean and the employees are very nice. They offer a great buffet full of southern country foods.
