About Eleventh Hour Haunted House

After undergoing a complete overhaul for the 2013 season, Eleventh Hour Haunted House swallows visitors in 30,000 square feet of strobe lights, fog, and theme park-quality sets—some of which loom over patrons at 20 feet high. Such epic scale has earned the indoor labyrinth a coffin full of accolades, including the title of "Best Overall Halloween Event" from ChicagoHalloweenGuide.com last year. But despite the ominous environments and bloodcurdling characters, Eleventh Hour actually eliminates the scariest part of the season: long waits. Instead of making guests stand in line or rake invisible leaves before heading inside, the haunted house invites them to kill time in a festival area with food and refreshments for sale.

Too bad the sets and props weren't illuminated a little better. There were some great scenes but you couldn't see them because there wasn't enough accent lighting. Great theatrical scenes that would have looked better with a little lighting. Scenes that were lit are very well displayed. Makes you feel like you're in an actual town.

The haunted house was excellent and with the VIP front of line access there was hardly a wait. Plus the parking was very well marked.

VIP access was a joke...just got you to the front of next group...you still had to wait in long line. Too dark to see scenes. Siglo zombie theme grew old ....was borinh.

Haunted house was long...but it was mostly a long maze...very dark with uneven terrain....too much dead space....not a typical haunted house i'm used to going to and i go to TONS....just mediocre, i'm sorry to say. I was hoping for a GREAT haunt!

The reviews are spot on ... wish I would have listened prior to purchasing tickets! Very few actors - at one point, we had been walking for 5 minutes & had not seen anyone! A good portion is spent walking thru a swamp-like area with very little decor & again ... no actors! Plain & simple - they need more people! HUGE disappointment & waste of $$.
