I know how to work on cars and have done most of the work myself on the car I took to M&R. The only reason I had them change the oil was because I was working 70/hr weeks and I didn't have the time to do it myself. They performed their inspection and some issues were misdiagnosed at best, misrepresented otherwise. An exhaust rattle caused by worn hangers was described as transmission issues. They also wanted to replace a camshaft position sensor worth $790+ (!) because of a slight oil leak, all it needed was a $3 dollar o-ring. I replaced both of the offending parts myself and the problems were fixed.
