Though just a 20-minute ferry ride from the mainland, Puget Sound's Anderson Island is nonetheless a world away. It has few roads, no stoplights, and a single general store, but also plenty of reasons to stay. The 8-mile island, the sound's southernmost, brims with wildlife and scenery provided by rugged, untouched terrain and Mt. Rainier jutting from the horizon.
The Riviera Community Club provides just enough civilization with its nine-hole golf course, tennis courts, campground, and 22-slip private marina. It also boasts a lakeside restaurant with picturesque views.

Course was a nice challenge and we'll maintained. Lunch on the deck overlooking lake was fantastic

My husband and I had a great time. I golfed my first birdie which was exciting for me. It is a short course so it was also easier for me to complete since I have some health issues. It was an enjoyable day all around. The weather was great, ferry ride was beautiful, everyone we met at the club were friendly.

I wasn't able to use the food credit part of the deal because the clubhouse doesn't open until 4 and we had to catch the ferry Either play later in the day or earlier in the year

clubhouse staff/person was a bit on the rude side, until i pointed out that i had called 3 times and left a message but did not get a callback (have to call to get a tee time). play was extremely slow. we left after the 1st loop (9 holes) because there were 3 groups waiting on the next tee box. course was interesting and in decent shape. ferry ride was nice.
