About Solecon LLC

When Christopher Lee and Terence Pierce founded the SoleChasers clothing brand in 2012, they simultaneously laid the foundation for what would eventually become an annual series of national conventions dedicated to stylish shoes: Solecon. At these day-long celebrations of footwear, collectors are encouraged to buy, sell, and trade their treasured kicks. Each attendee is allowed to bring along a couple of pairs to sell or trade, although vendors are also on-hand, displaying tables full of rare finds, discontinued stock, or garter snakes trained to act as self-tying laces. The conventions even host live performances by musicians hoping to entertain and energize the gathered crowds.
