No lunch sold anymore so eat before you come for the tour and wine-tasting. We all enjoyed it and purchased several bottles to take home.

It was fun, exciting and something different. I enjoyed myself, we even got free wine glasses.

Tips? When you get to the end of the highway, just cross the street, and you are there! We thoroughly enjoyed our visit. We had the opportunity to taste each of the wines available at Summerside. We already had a favorite, but was glad to try some others and get some new ideas! They have a Sherry that is unbelievable. There wasn't much to the "cellar", but it was interesting to see the storage and bottling process. Summerside also has a small retail section where you can purchase lots of wine "doo-dads". It was fun to look around. I highly recommend Summerside Vineyards for a nice little day trip!

Try their dry or semi dry wines. They are wonderful. Usually I don't try anything but the sweet wine. But this time, I did and was impressed. They do not leave a bad taste.

there were two of us, my partner Elmer and me...we bought wine, sherry, port, salad dressing, a wine rack and LOVED the woman who did our tasting...i cannot recall her name...but its a really good value she let us taste a TON of wines and we had a lot of fun. we were there on a bottling day so be sure to ask to tour on one of those days...
