interesting to see these old lake cruise ships compared with the modern ships we have sailed on in the last few years

We went later in the fall and got a personal tour by a nice young man Who shared his knowlege and enthusiasm for the ship.

SS Keewatin is a sleeper. You think you will finish the tour in ten minutes but the first thing you know half the afternoon is gone and it feels like it was only ten minutes. Five Stars !!!

must be able to climb steep stairs and walk thru narrow halls. The tour was the best, the guide made everything so interesting. We would go back again. So much history and nostalgia.

Excellent tour, lasted 2 hours. All tour guides are volunteers so we had to wait for the tour in front of us to finish. "Captain Rick" led our tour, had many interesting tidbits to share about the history of the Keewatin and the time he worked on the ship. The ship's engine is particularly unique as it was built during the industrial revolution.
