Loved the inventions and inventors exhibit. Also took in took in the remarkable architecture of the mansion and exhibits on general Minneapolis and Hennepin County history in the library/ conservatory, the cataloguing process, and a photo exhibit.

Very nice little museum. Also purchased the mansion walking tour book and did that after our visit. Friendly, helpful staff. Learned a few interesting facts about Minneapolis, particularly the inventions!

Really enjoyed this little museum.
Learned about some of the unique inventions created in Hennepin County, with artifacts on display.
Located within the historic Christian family home, information about the home is provided throughout as well.
Staff was great, definitely recommend a visit. There's also a self guided walking tour pamphlet of Washburn Fair Oaks available for purchase.
